Unique new Hexagonal Tower installed at Scone, Perthshire

We recently installed a lovely new play area at a new housing development in Scone, Perthshire.

Part of the installation is an attractive timber Hexagonal Play Tower which forms the centerpiece of the play park.

The tower platform is supported by 14cm diameter machine rounded timbers which are fitted with galvanized metal extended feet, so reducing any timber having direct contact with ground moisture.

The main deck platform is constructed with machine rounded timber fixed to the main legs and supports redwood decking. The deck platform has a selection of access and exit points offering a variety of activities such as climbing ramp, scramble net and rock wall.

The contractors A & J Stephen (Builders) Ltd worked with us to create this unique Scone play area that was not only attractive but also one that would last for many years to come.

Our unique Hexagonal Activity Tower is designed and built by our team based in Kinross. The installation included safety surfacing which aims to minimise this risk of injury should a child fall.
