Hanging Tyres : CP-THT(E)

Description

The Hanging Tyres are supplied as a set of three tyres suspended from a horizontal top beam.

The tyres are joined together at the base with a chain.

Some of the gallery images show the two-tyre configurations with the former method of installation – a chain coming down from each tyre and going down to the ground.

The timbers used are quarter sawn, pressure treated and impregnated with wax, providing a more repellent surface so reducing water absorption and delaying future rotting of the timber.

We also fit Postsaver sleeves at the ground line section of all timber posts that are extended into the ground. This will keep the cause of ground rot out and the preservative in, ensuring that the new piece of equipment will last for many years.

single log machine rounded poles pressure treated with non-arsenic preservative, impregnated with wax and secured into the ground with concrete footings

vertical poles: 14cm diameter

16mm Herculean rope with sealed eyelets secured with locking shackles

timber fixings are secured with high tensile bolts with a shear strength of 13.3 kilonewtons, pull out strength 5.45 kilonewtons
