Our Tactile Play Panels are a selection of fun and interesting textures and products mounted within a timber frame. They are available in a range of textures to stimulate and add a new dimension to the outdoor play experience.

The standard size is 60cm x 60cm however we would be happy to create play panels in any size.

Children enjoy interacting with a sensory learning wall and use it intuitively in many ways. Social interaction is encouraged as children create imaginary scenarios around the textures.

Young children, in particular, need to feel things with their hands and be able to explore the sensation of cold, soft, hard and even prickly in order to help them make sense of the world around them. By integrating these play panels into the outdoor play provision the children will be able to touch them knowing that it is safe to do so.
