The clients were looking for a versatile play area that would allow their son, who has additional support needs, to enjoy it as well as other family members and friends.
They were keen for the play equipment to be placed on a lower lawn outside their house, for it to be heavy duty, unobtrusive and for it to fit in with the natural setting.

Furthermore, they were also looking for play equipment that was strong and durable, requiring minimal future maintenance and that could be adapted if required in the future. The design was not to be too restrictive, so allowing many years of use for a broad age group.
