Flat Swing Seat

The Flat Swing Seat is from our range of products that we would normally only provide to council play parks, tourist destinations and other high traffic play areas.

We are offering this as an option for the domestic gardens for those customers who wish to have exactly the same swing seats that they would find in the local swing park.

It is made of a rubber compound and is reinforced with an aluminium plate and is suitable for only one person to use at a time.

The seat comes with two 2.0m chains. This unit also comes with the required D shackles needed to attach it to the swing frame. The cost of a set of D Shackles is included in the price. In order to spread the load of the extra weight across the top bar – we also include a set of two washer plates when you order this product.

If you are buying your swing frame from us and order this swing seat, we will make sure that the correct washer plates are added to the top pole when we manufacture your swing set.

If you order this swing seat for your own existing swing frame then it would be up to you to install the washer plates yourself when installing the new swing seat.

We would like to reassure you that our standard garden play swing seats are very robust and more than suitable for general use and play. We offer this particular swing seat purely for those customers who would like the same swing seat in the garden that they would find at the local public play area.

We advise the bolts to be re-tightened regularly.

Our grass safety mats are a popular method of safety surfacing that also protects the ground from extra erosion. They can be laid on top of grass which will grow through and can be cut in the normal way. The mats are flexible and able to be laid on contoured surfaces with the large holes offering sufficient drainage. They are also wheelchair friendly and can withstand all weathers and extreme temperatures. Over time the mats will not be visible as the grass grows through them.
