Sleeper Bench : CP-SB(E)

Description

The Sleeper Bench for schools is a heavy duty block bench constructed from a single heart sawn sleeper.

It is concreted into the ground as standard. We also fit Postsaver sleeves at the ground line section of all timber posts that are extended into the ground. This will keep the cause of ground rot out and the preservative in, ensuring that the new piece of equipment will last for many years.

Our Sleeper Benches can also be combined with other to create the Sleeper Bench Maze. It is a combination of sleeper benches permanently fixed to the ground in an interesting and fun pattern. Originally designed in response to a request from a school this product has been installed in varying configurations in a selection of schools.

Various lengths of the Sleeper Bench for schools are available although the standard length is 1.2m, the height can also be altered depending on requirements.

Various configurations of benches are available as shown in the image gallery section – as a mini amphitheater or ion a configuration top suit your school or nursery. Prices will vary according to the layout and the total amount and lengths of benches used. By creating a unique outdoor space for the young people they will be able to have fun making up their own imaginary scenarios and fun uses for the benches. They might even just want to sit and watch the world go by as they eat lunch!
