Traversing Wall (Wall Mounted)

The Traversing Wall (Wall Mounted) offers a physical challenge as children move along the wall using only hand and foot grips. These have been placed in such a way that it is not possible to gain much height.

The Traversing Wall is constructed from a timber frame and tough dark brown slip-resistant birch plywood boards with large wire mesh pattern. The upright timbers are concreted into the ground and fitted with Postsaver sleeves.

The specially designed coloured rock climbing holds are suitable for both hands and feet to use. Excellent for developing upper and lower body strength and coordination.

Due to the height of the foot holds safety surfacing is not required. Where installed on grass we would suggest the use of Grass Safety Mats around the product to prevent ground erosion.

Where installed on tarmac a 20mm rubber wetpour surfacing can be laid to a distance of 1.5m around the product.

This is a good solo activity however teamwork can also be encouraged as children help each other by guiding their feet and giving assistance.

The size can be made to suit the space in 1.2m multiples. As a guide a 3.6m double-sided freestanding wall starts at £3,025.00, and 3.6m single-sided freestanding wall starts at £1,875.00.
