Our Family Basket Swing is at the top end of our range of swing sets. It has the capacity to take the weight of several people at once making it a unique piece of equipment that adults can use to relax in when the children are not using it.
It is extremely robust using larger poles than our standard swing frames in order to support the heavy basket. The swing is therefore suitable for groups of children as well as adults to use.

Our Family Basket Swing has been designed to be freestanding and does not need to be concreted in or anchored down however it can be secured to the ground with optional ground anchors if required for additional security.
We recommend the use of grass safety mats under the swing to reduce ground erosion.
The 1.2m diameter basket has an internal galvanised steel ring, 16mm herculean rope and conforms to European Safety Standard EN1176.
The space required for the large footprint of the Family Basket Swing and to allow swinging is 4.0 x 6.0m. The capacity is approximately 1000kg.
All timbers are supplied from PEFC registered forests pressure treated with non-arsenic preservative and impregnated with wax.
