Multi Play Centre with Extension : MPCX

Description

The Multi Play Centre with Extension combines a tower element with five rung ladder and 3.0m fibreglass wavy slide with a double swing extension. This product is very similar to the Multi Play Centre however the top pole on the swing extension extends out a further 0.5m to allow for one single swing point.

The timber used is Northern Scandinavian Pine and the machine rounded timbers are slow grown Norway Spruce.

All our timbers are pressure treated with non-arsenic based preservative salts, then impregnated with wax.

Swing seats are not included. Choose from our large selection of Swing Seats to ensure you have the correct seat for those who will be using it.

The Multi Play Centre with Extension is large and heavy and therefore does not require to be anchored to the ground.

We can arrange to have the product installed for you or you may prefer to do it yourself using the instructions provided. We advise that, due to the size and weight of the timbers involved, a minimum of two strong adults are required to install the equipment safely.

We recommend that our play equipment is placed on grass, not a hard surface and that there is a clearance of approximately 1.5m around the structure and 2.0m behind swings. Play equipment in the garden does not require special safety surfacing if on grass.

To prevent ground erosion or to provide a more giving surface simply lay our Grass Safety Mats at strategic points under or around the equipment. The grass grows through the mats and can be cut as normal requiring minimum maintenance and keeping the natural look of the garden. The mats will also help keep kids a little safer. Children trip and fall all the time – it is part of learning and growing up – however it’s nice to know that some of the falls that might have led to a more serious injury might just end up being a bump or a bruise and the child can carry on playing.

Specification

The MPC tower is constructed with 4 legs, (8cm machine rounded timber) and a set of support bars with a sandpit base creates a secure frame structure. All the timbers have been pressure treated and impregnated with wax, providing a more repellent surface so reducing water absorption and delaying future rotting of the timber.

Tower platform floor is machined redwood decking positioned 1.4m above ground level.

All steps are positioned 25cm apart and have red safety bushes between the rungs and ladder sides.

The swing frame can be positioned on the left or right side of the tower.

Top swing pole 12cm diameter supported by two 10cm diameter legs

Top pole secured with 17mm timber bolts and 13mm timber bolts are used at all other points, - located into pre-drilled recessed holes.

2.5m spread between the 10cm diameter legs – very stable.

8cm diagonal bracing bars have 2 fixing points at end of the bar

All swing pivot points are fixed through 12cm top swing pole, locked with twin locking nuts.

All swing ropes are 12mm and sealed and tested to 200kg

Delivery size 2.5 x 1.0 x 0.8m high, approximately 200kg
