The Wooden Basket Swing is a very popular product in swing parks across all sectors. It has been designed to take several young children, or a couple of adults, with a capacity to carry a tonne in weight.
The heavy duty basket is constructed of a galvanised steel ring and herculean net rope and the supporting timber frame is reinforced with large washer plates. The basket diameter is 1.2m. Safety chains are fitted as standard. The critical fall height is 2.1m.
The basket must not be less than 40cm from the ground when installed. This is measured from the outside ring of the basket to the ground.
The Wooden Basket Swing has been designed to take several young children, or a couple of adults, and is ideally suited for children and adults with additional support needs. It is also popular with parents of smaller children as they can accompany them on the swing. The Basket Swing encourages social and interactive play and can be a standalone feature for any organisation that is looking to attract more visitors.
