Scottish Education Awards Finalists 2018

The SEA Finalists have been announced!

After much consideration the Scottish Education Awards Finalists 2018 for the Scottish Education Awards has been announced.

The three finalists for the Learning for Sustainability Award are as follows:

Kemnay Academy, Aberdeenshire
Lochardil Primary School, Highland
Williamston Primary School, West Lothian

There are fifteen categories in total and we are proud to sponsor the Learning for Sustainability Award category and look forward to finding out more about each project and who has won.

The category recognises the achievements of educational settings who have made connections between all of the different aspects of learning for sustainability to support the development of a coherent whole educational setting approach.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony set to take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Wednesday 6th June 2018.

Over 550 people attend the event, made up of finalists, sponsors, VIPs and ministers.

It’s always a most exciting day and we enjoy hearing all the stories from the nominees and what they have achieved to get as far as the finals.

The running order on the day is as follows:

10.00am – Arrival / Registration

10.30am – Guests Seated

10.45am – Welcome

11.00am – Awards 1-7

11.45am – Lunch / Entertainment

1.15pm – Awards 8-15

2pm – Event Concludes
