Garden Play Fort with Extension : GPFX

The Garden Play Fort with Extension combines all the elements of climbing and swinging in one fantastic product.

Climb onto the fort using one of the access points and then slide down the super fun wavy green slide for a quick exit!

The fort element is constructed from quality timber with a 3.0m long HDPE wave slide, two access ladders and a climbing ramp with pull rope.

The swing element is a double swing frame with extension. It has two double swing points and a single swing point on the extension.

At Caledonia Play we do not supply swing seats as standard with the swing frames – we allow customers to decide which seats they would like according to the size, age and ability of the children and adults using it. Further information on choosing swing seats for different types of swing points is available here.

A popular optional swing accessory on the extended pole is the Push Me Pull You which allows two people to swing but is also designed so that one person can use it alone.

If required, we are able to put all three sets of swing points inside the A frame. This allows for three sets of double swing points rather than two sets of double swing points and a single swing point on the extension. To have this configuration please contact our office on 01577 840570.

The lower section of the fort can be converted into a secret den by adding a floor and extra wall – this is called the Base Floor and Wall Add-on. And add a Tumble Bar for extra tumbling fun on the side of this product.

Add Grip Handles (Code No 40) for smaller children to be able to access the tower more easily.

Additional accessories such as the telescope, binoculars, steering wheel and periscope can be also be added on as fun play elements.

We suggest grass safety mats are placed at the end of the slide to prevent ground erosion.

The GPF tower is constructed with 6 legs, (8cm machine rounded timber) with a set of support bars that create a secure frame structure.

Top swing pole 12cm diameter supported by two 10cm diameter legs

Top pole secured with 17mm timber bolts and 13mm timber bolts are used at all other points, - located into pre-drilled recessed holes.

2.5m spread between the 10cm diameter legs – very stable.

8cm diagonal bracing bars have 2 fixing points at end of the bar

Tower platform floor is machined redwood decking positioned 1.4m above ground level.

3m HDPE wave slide with tower access via two 5 rung ladders and climbing ramp.

All steps are positioned 25cm apart and have red safety bushes between the rungs and ladder sides.

The 3m Climbing ramp comes with a poly hemp pull rope and can be positioned on either side of the tower.

All swing pivot points are fixed through 12cm top swing pole, locked with twin locking nuts.

All swing ropes are 12mm and sealed and tested to 200kg
