New Play Park at Duntuim Housing Development, Aberfeldy

Duntuim play park is a recent installation at a new housing development in Aberfeldy. It is situated in the most beautiful Scottish location and was developed in conjunction with Eòlas Architects, who are also based in Aberfeldy.

A winding tarmac path runs from one end of the play area to the other, with pieces of beautiful timber play equipment on either side. There are grass safety mats under and around each product and these will eventually disappear under the grass.

We installed the following products:

Log Maze Climber
Standard Single Tower with Rock Wall and Scramble Net
Double Swing Frame
Four Person Seesaw
Stepping Log Columns and Striding Timber Stilts

Three sleeper benches offer a seat while children play, and there is also a large MagPost, a scientific quality 5x magnifying glass on a hardwood post. Small objects such as feathers, leaves, bones and even small insects can be placed under the magnifying glass and examined in close detail which children enjoy and find really interesting.
